This week's TSC was to make a birthday card using yella, purple, glittah and a punch. I used a border punch that reminds me of madi gra; the glittah is the icing on the cake done with Diamond Stickles. One of my promises for the new year was to use what I haven't in a while so I dug out MFT image which works well with birthday themes. The DP is scraps from Hobby Lobby originally. I colored the image with copics and mounted it on the DP and used a yella CS base. Added yella flower brads. Fun challenge, thanks Shirt!

Oh Phyllis yours is gorgeous, your colors look so good mine are a bit scary ha! I love the flower shaped eyelets and your twinkling cake, but I really like your new years promise to use some of your unloved lately craft stash, what a good idea all the trills of shopping without spending a penny! Ooo look I forgot I had that woohooooo.

A-MEN, Sistah, get out that stuff in yo' stash and use it!! I think we are all there right about now!!
Love the purple and yella ( like the yella rose of Texas, right?) Love how you mixed your DP's and made it work so well. The stickles on your BD cake are all fired up and the little eyelets are a cute touch, along with the bitty border you got in thar'.
Great moves on the challenge! and love that you are moving out some of the forgotten items in your craft room!!
