Well done Green Sue! Loved this week's TSC! We were to make a masculine card using the Crimped Diamond technique with NO Foo Foo or Fluff (flowers and girly stuff). I used an image from Viva LosVegas Stamps and in honor of the one who gave this week's challenge, I used green CS and ink. (That should get me at LEAST first prize!!!) Two years ago two of the sweetest SCS Angels sent me a Cuttlebug along with some dies and folders and I used that as well to embellish the corners. My crimper didn't seem to want to crimp as crisp as I wanted so to enhance the texture, I sponged Distress Ink - Worn Burlap. Used a small Nesties die for the sentiment panel and wrote the "YeeHaw" which is Texan for Woo Hoo. Added some brads because what is a "manly" card without some metal and then snuck in a couple of dots of green stickles cause I could!

This is a perfect masculine card!!! Thanks so much for posting it...my son is a UWyo Cowboy, and it would be just perfect for a "lasso up some good grades" card!

Well, YEE HAW, WOO HOO, and YIPPEE KI YAY!! Tate, this is so fantastic - kind like the mood on the bus right now with us all being new Auntie's !!! GRRRRRREAT job on the crimpin, Sistah, and the image is PERFECT! Thats about as manly as you can get, with just the right amount of sponging to enhance your cowboy, and I love the corners with the touch of 'metal'! You really "brought it" when you did this baby!! NO contest!!
