What a sweet teapot party we are having today. Seems one of our SCS family is having a babyÂ…Â….in Cody WyomingÂ…Â…making another SCS family Grand-parents. AinÂ’t that cool! Go here to get all the detailsÂ…Â…my card starts nowÂ…Â….
I didn’t go the Pooh route, did use blue and put Max in as the “rockin” horse. hehe You see I saw this article in the paper about a Colorado cow named Bella who just gave birth to son, Ben that happened to be born with panda markings. The whole birth idea inspired me to make this card, especially after I researched and found out that Bella is a “cousin” of Curt's! …he has a very large family. So just had to incorporate this into my card after all we are having a “baby shower” today and I didn’t want Curt to miss out on this. He always has his presence somehow, someway at these shindigs.
Jamie, Jason, Pat and Bubba congrats to you on this new adventureÂ…..parenthood and grand-parenthood. What a blessing for you all. Thanks too to the Mudder for hosting this wonderful teapot party with so many goodies and tea.
Have lost my voice from this cold, so will cut this short…….Hope you all are warm and happy and well……I won’t be going to the party, don’t want to “share” my cold with you like DH did with me. hehe……….TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Hi NC Sis!
P.SÂ…..the stickles dried!...and look even more sparklie. (see yesterdays card if you are confused)

Love Curt's cousin. I could see the family resemblance immediately and wondered if it was Curt's baby picture in fact. Love the crackled barn board and wonderful animal scene. I know what you meant about those sticky stickles I remember the comment from yesterday. Glad it finally dried.

Aw, I was going to ask were you sick when I saw you commenting at a time that you're not normally around. Stay tucked up warm, lots of hot drinks, and I'll bring some more honeycomb icecream along when you feel better. Of course it's perfect for a baby - this makes me think of a nativity scene with all the animals in the stable.

Gingham, little buttons, booties charm, you've got all the fixins for a cute, cute baby card, and as usual your card tells a story - you've got one heck of an imagination which makes you a very creative, fun cardmaker - see, you don't have to have a voice to tell a story!! But I am sorry to hear you're sick - get better very soon!!

Your card is amazing - as is your drawings and sense of humor! The card is so very adorable! Maybe someday you could put a book together on Curt and his family - that would be a hoot! Love your card - as always!!

Cathy, I was waiting to see what you would come up with. This is so cute! Curt has the biggest family tree! Do I see a little of Curt in baby Ben... ? Bella and Ben, with Max watching over them is so sweet, I'm sure Max will keep little Ben in line! You've created a wonderful barn scene here, the crackled bg really makes this authentic looking! This will be treasured by the parents, grandparents, and baby Jon!

Have fun and be creative!
