I made this card for the QFTD challenge. This week CAKath is the Queen. I had never been in her gallery before today - and it is awesome! I was inspired by her card - A Flutter of Hope A Flutter of HOPE by CAKath at Splitcoaststampers
I didn't have the embossing folder she used, so I used a swirl EF on plain white cardstock and punched an oval in the top before embossing. The butterflies were punched from white cardstock that was stamped with the swirl from PTI Silent Night collection. I layered the embossed panel on a soft yellow and mounted it on the card with pop dots. I love the way this turned out.
Thanks Kathy for the wonderful inspiration!!

Welcome, Susan. How wonderful to come and case Kathy! Your card reminds me of a beautiful summer's day surrounded by the white of a wedding! I love your swirls EF and cutout. If's all just perfect ~ including the butterflys.

This card, and Kathy's have both captured my heart, mostly due to the butterflies - I admit I am partial to them and look for ways to include them on my card. You have both done such an excellent job of showcasing them with your embossed backgrounds!! TFS
