This is also going out in the mail to Michelle, our QFTD34, I am still trying to get some more together to send her.
I am always and forever trying to channel Theresa Momber's fabulous sponging techniques and no matter how many times I try, I come up short, but I have such great fun doing it, that I long since stopped trying to be perfect at it, lol.
Here is her tutorial: http://craftingtheweb.blogspot.com/2...s-in-sand.html
Sue I appriciate all your kind comments and your gallery is so very lovely, thank you for inspiring me.

What a beautiful card. It looks so inviting that I want to jump into that card and sit right by that palm tree. I think you have the technique down to perfection. I like the look of it.

Oh Holly, what a beautiful idea for a sympathy card - we don't like to have to make them, but they are also a part of our lives, just as birthdays are. The sunset of our life is as the sunset of our days - what a peaceful and serene card this truly is. You can really tell your heart was in this when you made it. I think your sponging is beautiful and the look of the wave with the torn paper is one technique I have never seen before - like the waves lapping the shoreline! Fantastic !
I t is always good to see you here in the gallery , I envision you "bouncing" all over the place - your eagerness to take in everything you can and always looking to learn more, and I admire that about you! Thanks so much for joining in the celebration - I am deeply honored!!
