Well, I've been out of the challenge loup for a while. I've missed it, but have been busy making cards for the shop and working in the chocolate factory, as my husband likes to phrase it. So I was up early this morning and checked the challenge. I was originally going to go with something simple like an apple image, but then I was looking over my individual stamp images and saw this one that I have never used and decided to really put on the challenge clothes today. This was a lot of fussy cutting to get this paper pieced but I'm loving the end result. I started out looking for some orangy paper and that lead me to a package of retired SU Razzleberry Lemonade DSP which ultimately lead to the color scheme. Then I was trying to figure out what kind of a sentiment to use and remembered another virgin stamp, the Breathe greeting. The Spellbinder die was a flash of inspiration. I thought I had the lotus die and figured that would be perfect, but this is actually the Lattice die and it works beautifully. I used the cut outs from the die to decorate the corners and accent the greeting. I have no idea who I would send this card to, but I'm sure the perfect opportunity will present itself at some point!
Finished card size A6.
What do you think?

What a fabulous creation. I loved your story about how this evolved. Some of my best cards came about in exactly that way. Each element fits perfectly with the rest- very Zen! Ha, your card is already exerting it's influence on me. The medallion is the perfect element in this. Great job for the challenge and welcome back to us.

Aside from the fact that this is a beautiful card, I was really impressed that you used the cut-out parts from the pendant die on the corners. I never would have thought of that!
