Sorry I'm late with this week's TSC! We were to create a colorful "fall" card. I was inspired by.........I CAN'T REMEMBER!!!!! Now I have to divulge that I am a stalker. I get my inspiration from so many creative people and I saw a card online, somewhere and just had to try my hand. Please forgive me original creator, I wish I could give you all the credit you deserve but my mind is functioning at low capacity! Working from my scrap pile, I stenciled a piece of tan CS using Distress Ink. Masked off portions of a scrap of cream CS and sponged on Green shutter Distress Ink, then moving up brown and for the sunset I sponged Pumkin pie in the center and faded out with Summer Sun. Before I did all that, I punched a 1" circle from a Post-It-Note to use as a mask for the setting sun. Then I stamped the wheat shafts using the same brown ink to create the foreground. Mounted that onto a scrap of orange. Made the little sentiment circle using another punch and wrote in the words with a brown marker. The ribbon I used was saved from a "candy" Christmas gift several years ago and it just seemed to fit here. The card base its self is from a package I ordered many years ago and was very disappointed at the low quality. I use these now mainly as a base on which to build a design. Thanks for this challenge Les!!!
