Sweet Ms. Peggy Elms gave the TSC for this week. We were to use plaid, flowers and paper piecing. I recently got the Nov/Dec issue of Paper Crafts magazine and saw the prettiest card by Betsy Veldman on page 49. When I saw the bicycle I just had to give it a try. Using the bicycle stamp by Inkadinkado I stamped in on red CS and cut it out. Use blue plaid (Peggy's favorite color) for the back ground and a scrap of Cuttle bug snowflakes for the snow on the ground. Stamped the bicycle image twice more on different DP and pieced the packages on the back of the bicycle and the basket on the front. Then using the very smallest die from my flower Nestie, I made the required flowers. Added some greenery using the MS punch. Cut out another Nestie die from white CS and added rub-ons for the sentiment and sponged the edge with Ruby Red. The main bicycle image is also mounted on pop dots cut to size. Sponged a bit of Sky Blue under the wheels for a shadow effect. Gussied up the sentiment panel with some left over blingy thingies and added a red CS background border and mounted this onto blue CS. This took me a L O N G time to make so this is why I am a little late posting.....I usually post in Friday mornings.

Tate, your card is so cute. I really like that bicycle and what a job cutting it out. Great paper piecing and I love the added flowers. Gee, Tate, I can't believe you used pink on this, I suppose your eyes were bothering you and you thought it was red.
