I made a few cards today using the wet paper technique. I worked on the images while hanging out at swim practice, so I used watercolor crayons instead of ink for my stamping. For this one I wet Natural White paper, crayoned directly onto the stamp with Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose and Rose Red then spritzed the stamp and stamped onto the wet paper. It had a really washed out look so when I got home I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to overstamp with stamped off Bravo Burgundy. The color ended up looking more like Rich Razzleberry so that is what I used for my back layer which is stamped with the Canvas bg stamp then distressed with the cutter kit distressing tool. I used some My Paper Studio dp that I crumpled then distressed and sponged with Bravo Burgundy. I cut out a Basic Gray circle to back the medallion, adhered a button to the center. The ribbon is Pure Pomegranate that has been basted and gathered. Sponged around the sentiment in Razzleberry. I ended up making an oversize almost square card because I wanted to keep the Medallion whole and still have some other elements on the card.
