I love this card even though it's completely Not a card I would normally make and it's Way out of my comfort zone (think painting in pastel colors ;)
But I am beyond thrilled with how it turned out, even though I kinda view it as cheating I haven't stamped anything on the outside, but on the inside I stamped "Happy Birthday". I know, I know, what you're thinking - "It doesn't make sense to put those two together". And I agree, but wouldn't you like to receive a card that called you "Cute" on your birthday? It's probably more appropriate for a young tween (back in my day, they were called "preteens").
I used KC&CO "Berry Sweet" and some ribbon I had had for the last 4 years! I have been going crazy trying to find a way to use these ribbons, because I love them so much. And when I saw MFT challenge, I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to use them and the the Flourishes "Felt" challenge together. I really love the look, but it's very difficult for me to try to do the ribbons like this, since the adhesive kept tanging in my ribbon!

This is adorable!!
We would love it if you would play along with the Treehouse Stamps Thursday challenge, this week's challenge is polka dots and your card is perfect for it.

Cute indeed! I used to feel the same way about it being "cheating" to make a card where nothing was stamped, but there are so many fabulous embellishments on the market now that I got over it! Haha! This is a bright, fun, happy card! Very sweet! TFS!
