Hi! This card was made for today's Free 4 All Challenge: Snowflakes and Pearls.
I have to admit that I saw this challenge, looked at Speedy the Cat and said, "Well, that counts us out!" and I WENT TO BED! I knew that we didn't have our Christmas/winter stamps out yet, so there was NO WAY I could participate...
After about 4 minutes, I got up and MADE this card! I remembered these trees on Our Family Tree and the sentiment! It was pretty fast after that! I colored the trees in with a dark green, lighter green and brown Memento Markers. I stamped in the sentiment with Adirondack Espresso. I used a reverse mask for the trees and then masked off the trees and sponged in panel with Distress Inks.
The snowflakes are brass charms and the pearls are red half pearls. I added cream pearls to the designer brads, too.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: about 49 minutes

This is wonderful! I love the colors and the card looks so wintery without even having your cool winter stuff out. The masking is pure genius! Those 4 minutes in bed were super helpful!
