Fridays are a special day for me, and, hopefully for you too.
DRUM ROLL, PLEASE
Thank you Melody's Mom for that Phil Collins' style you bring to each QFTD. Please everyone be most cautious as you gently push your way through all the camera crews, well wishers and management
on your way to the stage.
C'mon down everyone to wish this week's, our 17th Queen For The day, Cook 22, huge congratulations for being selected Our Queen For The Day!
CONGRATULATIONS, Sabrina! We are all so excited your day in the spotlight as come. BTW, Dorothy, we're hopeful you hand delivered your crown to our newest Queen! I know it takes lots more gas to drive a motor home than it would if you were driving your car, but I'm confident all the sponsors like GQ, Vogue and Elle have lavished you with richly gifts to make your journey less costly.
I didnt have to go far in Sabrina's gallery to case one of her magnificent creations. In fact, I just had to go to yesterday's SC to take my inspiration. I loved Sabrina's BIRDIE'S BONJOUR seen here .
Sabrina, you know I cheat; in fact, I know you've made a few references to that very fact! Here was another card of your's I just loved but couldnt quite get the concept of how you did it. It's a gorgeous card, as all of your cards are gorgeous. I hope you will accept my feeble and cheating card!
Enjoy this day, Sabrina: It belongs only to you.
As I type this, I think it's only about 8:30 your time, so hopefully you'll have a chance to learn of your newly-crowned and rightly owned Crown.
Have a wonderful reign, Queen Sabrina

I love your beautiful case of Queen Sabrina's card. (Just the mention of Queen Sabrina sounds soooo romantic to me.) I do love that gorgeous flower and the retro fashion look too. I am so happy to play again today. I've been going through Sabrina's ahem...small gallery! TFS

Oh my, I am going to be so excited tonight to think of looking through the QFTD gallery tomorrow! Dorothy must have managed to expedite the delivery of the crown because it arrived safely. (Honestly, in real life, when I've had stuff shipped with the UPS international saver, it arrives the very next day!).
I do see my big flower here, and the sketch, and if there isn't a bird there is that gorgeous Erté style fashion paper which you know is just up my street. It adds the perfect touch of French style to commemorate my mother and the non-Irish part of me.

Another magnificent creation with a gorgeous pop of color! Sabrina will be so proud of the job you've done on this one! I absolutely love the dark colors with that brilliant splash of ribbon! I really like the vintage images working the background while that little metal flower almost steals the spotlight! Great card!

Well, bless your cheatin' heart! This is just a beauty, Anne. (I always want to type Annie because my daughter, Anne, is called affectionately Annie. So if I type Annie, you will know why.) Back to your card. It is beautiful. I love your flower, your gorgeous DP and the orange accent. Way cool. Great pick for QFTD. Such fun, Anne.
