This has been something I've been playing with for a few weeks, and it finally "let" me see what I could do! Started out with an embossed scrapbook paper scrap. Painted that a greenish gold color. Overstamped with a gardening collage stamp...as the Canadians say "Eh" -not so much to my liking.
I found some scraps of old lace and painted them with an interference violet acrylic, attached it as embellishment. Had one image, ruined it, added another. Dried flowers (lavender, batchelor's buttons and johnny jump ups) from my own garden were first attached with gel medium then gone over with melted bees wax. My first attempt at that technique, too! Believe me, this looks old. LMK what you think? Tips on beeswax appreciated.

Hey lady! You have been busy! LOVE this little masterpiece! Beeswax gives such a old glow and it smells heavenly! Looks like you have aced this technique! I usually shave wax off the block, lay it on, then melt with a heat gun. Add another layer of fun stuff, more wax shavings, heat again. Watch the heat though - or it can melt everything right off the card! lol! Or use a quilters iron .... oh! You can even stamp into the wax too! I'd love to hear how you applied your wax!
