There's tons of fun, prizes and 2 sketches to choose from - one intricate sketch and one CAS version of the sketch so everyone can play.
Today I tried to go somewhat vintage. Not something I'm as comfortable with even though I melt when I look at vintage creations.
I chose to use Chic Boutique for my image and sentiment. I paper pieced the dress, added some copper sparkle to the stand and framed it with my Nesties 11 . The mat beneath the image was stamped with En Francais and the sentiment was done the same. I sponged, added some copper flowers, stickles, bling, ribbon sent to me by Priscilla - thanks Priscilla - and popped up the image, framing and 1st panel on dimensionals. I also paper pierced the first dp panel and embossed the second dp panel with the Fleur De Lis ef.
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have an incredible week!

What a great vintage card. I also love vintage but have a hard time "doing" vintage. You did a wonderful job. I love the trim you used and the gem you added to it. Adorable vintage shoe too.

....Pam....I'm exactly like you....I love the look of vintage but it's way out of my comfort zone....I've never even tried. Now YOU.....seem to be a natural....this is exactly what a vintage card should look like....it's lovely!!!! I absolutely adore the dress matching the background...unbelievably clever....and the little shoe is just too sweet. TFS.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
This is beautiful! I love vintage, but when I try it, I don't like the results! This is just soooo lovely! The colors, and the bling on the ribbon and the Nesties, just everything is great! All your detail is just wonderful. TFS

Vintage it is, fruitcake! Love the muted tones with the pieced sewing form. Priscilla's trim is so perfect with vintage, which I seem to think is her forte. Vintage seems to be your forte as well. Do I have to explain what forte means?

Here ya go again saying you're stepping out of your comfort zone with some new style for you - and rockin' da card! Face it Fruitflakezi. As hard as it may be to accept the news, there isn't a style out there that you can't handle. You make good cardz! Cuz you da Fruitflake! But I gotta tell you this, if I didn't have to sit and wait by my mailbox every day for that non-existent package of punchez from da prez, I'd fly down to Virginia and show you how to put thread in that sewing machine needle of yours. Wink, wink... Have a good day my friend! Hugz to ya and RYPH!!!

BTW, I love all the fancy bling and that little shoe charm. And I see you used French Script - have you figured out what it says yet? And I see Annie Jo wants to know if you need her to explain what forte means. It's derived from a French word, so I'd say you likely do need her help. Hugz! Outta here... ;-)

Pamzi-this is just fabulouso!!! I happen to love copper embellishments and don't use them often enough. I have copper stuff in my stash and going to break it out soon. Your embellishments are outstanding. I love the distress inking too! You are well on your way to doing my vintage. I checked my crystal ball and it said that vintage is growing on you and that you will be turning out lovely nostalgic cards by the armload soon!!! lol
Bear Hugs,
Bearzi
