Having been back in the UK for just a couple of days now after a 3week vacation in the US, I have been dying to start playing with my new goodies!
All you lucky spuds in the US would be horrified if you saw how much craft stash was over here, not to mention only a fraction of the choice that you have in your wonderful country!
Needless to say, I took FULL advantage and stuffed 2 extra cases with as much stash as I could cram in! Even paying the extra baggage allowance I am quids in!
I am embarrassed to admit that I purchased 52 punches! And don't even get me started on stamp sets, inks, paper, ribbon, etc! I even managed to get 2 large wooden ribbon holders for my craft room walls! So as you can imagine I am a VERY happy bunny!
Anyway, I digress! This is the 2nd card I have made since I got home and if you have seen any of my other Halloween cards you will know that I am making them to sell to raise funds for my wonderful little boys amazing special school.
As I only manage to create approx 1 card a week (and that's being generous!) I am starting early this year!
This card was a result of wondering if Andy Warhol had had access to Martha Stewart punches, what would he have made?! Something far better than my effort no doubt but I hope you can see the inspiration in there somewhere!
A really simple card using scallop circle, scallop square, and Martha Stewart spider punches. I could'nt resist the "blingy" eyes!
Hope you like it and that it does'nt look TOO simplistic. If nothing else it was great for using up the multitude bits of scrap cardstock I have floating around every (seemingly) room in my house!
Thanks for stopping by!
