This sketch was perfect for several thank you cards I needed for some first graders who gave me gifts at the end of the year. It was easier to make the card than to take the photo on this cloudy day. It's hard to see the piercing on the top of the black panel and the silver spica glitter pen on the eraser end of the pencil. The card base also has texture from the Linen Texture Plate. Oh, I really like your red polka dot apples! This is a perfect teachers card - pencils and apples! The black ribbon and brads are just the right touch.

Some teacher is going to love this!! I always thought it was nice receiving a card at the end of the year from students and their parents. It made me feel appreciated.
