Thank you all for your kind comments on my card. I took the class at Country Lane Scrapbooking in Langley, B.C. The petal of the flower are punched out using a punch by "Punch Bunch" It is a fairly large yellow punch and has five petals on it which can also be used to make roses and other flowers. I stamped out 6 large petals, 6 med sized petals and 3 small petals and then took a shaping tool and shaped the flowers by using the bigger end going around in circles until the petals are cupped and then I bent the top of the flowers slighly. The small petals have bit of marker on them to make it look like stamens and then I just glued each petal starting with the larger ones to a small green circle to hold them onto and then just kept layering them. I hope these instructions make sense. There is a book out which shows how to make these wonderful flowers. I will try to find it and will post it. It is awesome and the directions in are fabulous as are the photos.
