This is a beautiful Northwoods stamp that my mother bought and sent me just because... how nice was that!!!!
I decided this would be a wonderful image for the Teapot Tuesday challenge. I actually made this on tuesday but my ds hid my camera somewhere...
I started by stamping the image on white cs and colored with colored pencils. I stamped the large butterfly again and colored, cut out, and glued down only the body so the wings are dimensional. I used a MS border punch... well, I had that bit in the scrap bin, so at one time I used the MS punch on it...
I used one of the RAK embossed pieces Carol sent me (aka Bobbiesgirl). It is embossed with circles, I'm not sure what folder that is, but it was done on the cuttlebug I believe. I cut that piece into a triangle and used it over a piece of MS card stock from a MS stack.
I stitched around the edges and then stitched around the image panel. I added a button from the lost button tin (in RL you can see through it and it is kinda cool).
The ribbon is two sided ribbon from one of those just enough spools.
Now, to tie this in with the challenge... These beautiful butterflies offered to be tour guides for Darla and Dingle Bell Berry. They even asked their cousins the yellow butterflies to help...

What a beautiful image! And what a kind and thoughtful mom you have! Once again, your coloring amazes me. Love the stitching and that big button. The multicolored ribbon is a great touch.
