I was inspired to play along partly because of all the wonderful ideas I see already, but also because I've had this stamp awhile and felt restricted by it. TaaDaa, Susan comes to the rescue with this fun and simple notion. Suddenly, it's the perfect stamp!
For years I've worked in a hospital and all our internal mail arrives in envies like this: full of lines with words scratched off as the message is received and several (!!) that just have circles around them, like this. I decided to save you all the drug mumbo-jumbo I am used to seeing, and used happy words instead
It's a simple idea with a very simple stamp. In order to make it appear 3-D, yet leave it one layer, I carefully applied Glossy Accents around the pearl (which looks like a brad here) then let it dry. The edges were sponged and a line embossed to encourage the appearance of a flap. II also penciled in lines very lightly to show age.
I like how this turned out - hope you do, too!

This is amazing! It looks very 3D. Teachers get a lot of mail in those inter-office envelopes, too! (I always like to see where else the env has been, and see if I know anyone...)
