Oooo...I walked thru this sight this morning, looking for a bird image, and this is what I found! The Twisted Sister challenge for the week was to use a bird image on a monochromatic card, and yesterday, I ran out of mojo! This IC is just what I needed!
On a visit to Mothermark's two years ago, I saved a place mat from a restaurant, (because of the words 'Gallery Walk') knowing someday, that could be part of a card! And here it is. (Remember that Shirl?) So, later today I will go on my own gallery walk to see what is in this wonderful place, but for now, I gotta get out of my 'Stamp Uniform'!
Thanks for looking!

This is sensational! I love those layers of images and words! Also, "HA!" to people who might tease us for saving stuff to make something with it later - even if it takes us a little while (a twinkling to Him) - HA!

YES MAMME, that's what I'm talking about! SHUT UP!!!! WHOO HOOOWWW! I cannot believe you "saved" a place mat that long but then........I do some stuff like that too. I save it till I can't stand it no more and then I toss or use or recycle it. This was a terrific idea to use it on this card. Beautiful.

This is beautiful, Pat! Love the rich warm colors! How special this is because you could use a keepsake on this beauty and especially one where you visited the "Mudder-mark"! Fabulous!

Two years ago and you could still find it! I can't even find what was on my desk yesterday. I was sure we'd see lots of those birds on a wire today, but yours is the first I've come across as I flit in and out. This is one gorgeous monochromatic card, Pat.

Fantastic!!! Love all the details you've added - the bg, the punched border, that placemat piece, the ribbon,... OK. You get it. I like it! Great work.

Wow, Pat, I loved that image too, but never in the whole world would have come up with a card as beautiful as yours. It's truly a work of art. Of course, I love brown cards, to that helped. LOL

Wow, what a beauty. I love everything about it. You've got such gorgeous detail here and everything about it is just so appealing. Fabulous work. Come visit me over on my blog sometime. It gets sort of lonely over there.
