NancyRuth gave the StampinB challenge #56 this week to make a Mother's Day card. I chose to use this gorgeous sunflower from Speedy the Cat Designer Collection, Blackberries, Sunflowers, and Bees at Mark's Finest Papers. Watercolored my bee and sunflower, cut, and popped. Computer generated the sentiment and added the flourish from the same set.
Hope you'll join us this week and let us see your Mother's Day card. Keyword is StampinB.

Ooooh Benzi!!! Love what you've done here! Your watercoloured sunflower is wonderful and that cute little bee with his sparkly wings is perfect. (I do not feel that way about real bees though!) Love your dp. Good thing you've got those die-cuts on there... Great card for the StampinB challenge.

Love how you layered the sunflowers with the nestie shape. Lovely DP - not sure if the blue is a part of it or not, if not, great addition. Took a while to find the ticket corner punch...was beginning to think you were trying to slip some punch counts in there LOL! Great card.

Oh Brenda!! That just fabulous - but I must say that the bee caught me unawares -and gave me a bit of a scare! Must you include................ bee's with your beautiful flowers!!! That bee is altogether to life like!!!! Ack!!! I hope your mom is not faint of heart!!! Oh my - maybe I've made my mother's day card already - depending on how much time I have. If I have time - I have a great card from Mo's digit pencil - one of a big buttted woman hanging clothes out on a clothesline. My mom is not that big - a size 12 or something, but she does hang out the laundry and have a sense of humour -so we'll see whether she gets the Geronima card - or the Mo's Digi card. I was working on a 20th birthday card for my son last night - naw -did not work out......... Oh to have talent like you and Pamzi etc!!!!!!
Punch tally - too many to count - kinda like my cards!!!!!

Oooo, Benzi!! This is fabulous!! I just love all of the 3D effects you used in this card. Your sunflower is phenomenal!! And you used your stickles so nicely to highlight your bee (so realistic!!) and sunflower center. Great sentiment and background paper, too. Very, VERY nicely done!
