NancyRuth gave the StampinB challenge #56 this week to make a Mother's Day card. I chose to use this gorgeous sunflower from Speedy the Cat Designer Collection, Blackberries, Sunflowers, and Bees at Mark's Finest Papers. Watercolored my bee and sunflower, cut, and popped. Computer generated the sentiment and added the flourish from the same set.
Hope you'll join us this week and let us see your Mother's Day card. Keyword is StampinB.

Oh what a BEE-autiful sunflower, Benzi! (see what I did there? I amaze myself sometimes with my sparkling wit) That bee is incredibly realistic - you haven't been indulging in a bit of taxidermy, have you?! Such a gorgeous card, and I love your leaf dies!

Benzi- wowie girl....Sunflowers are one of my favorite images to use on cards. This one you have created is awesome. I love the coloring and shading you did on it and the sparkly bee is the perfect accent. Just beautiful and so well put together. A beautiful Mother's Day card!!!

Wow on the sunflower and "someone get me the fly swatter" for the bee. Yikes, he's big and so real like! Just kidding about the fly swatter part. Leave that bee alone. He's just doing his job. I love your card here. Super lovely and so well done. TFS :0)
