My 17 year old's boyfriend was over this weekend and asked to make something in my craft room, so we made paper roses using the Ornament Punch from Stampin Up. My Daughter made fun of his paper selection until we saw the final product. I think it is quite lovely and he took it home to give to his Granny. We have named it a Vera Rose since it does seem to take on the likeness of Vera Bradley designs. Maybe he is a "budding" designer (pun intended) - :-) - I found the instructions online (don't remember where) but we punched 12 or 13 petals to make ours, so it was more full. Curl each of the "petals" around a pencil with the point end up or down. Punch a circle (1 3/8 circle we used) and glue the "hanger" portion of the punch at 12, 3, 6, and 9 (like clock times) around the circle. Glue the next set of petals slightly more to the inside of the circle between the first ones and continue inside until the last ones which you curl just a little bit more.
