I have made these as mini albums using 12X12 paper and looked at the Welcome Neighbor 6X6 paper from Stampin Up and thought.... I wonder if I could make one as a card using this paper.. Use a 6X6 paper and cut one piece in half (you will use both pieces) and score each of the two pieces (6 in side on fence) at 1, 2, 4, and 5. Turn the paper where the 3 in side is on the fence (bottom) and at 1/2 in on each side (of both 3X6 pieces) from the first score line up to the last score line (do not cut from the end to the end). Fold each as you do the Tri-Shutter Card (see Resources for instructions). Line up the two cards and make sure the pattern paper is going correct directions and apply a piece of scotch tape to join as one unit. Cut CS at 2 3/4 X 1 3/4 and apply to the middle which hides the tape. for the two ends I cut two pieces of cardstock at 3X3 with a score at 1 in. See picture as to how to apply and this makes the two front flappy door things. I used a scap cut with the eyelet punch to have one of the flappy doors slide into in (only use adhesive on half of the eyelet punch piece to have room for slide) to close. The other is just so they are symetrical and is not functional. These are just quick off the top of my head directions. Let me know what you think. I really enjoy feedback, positive or negative as long as it is friendly.
