I had two very wonderful grandmothers. One was a quilter and I would sit and watch her for hours as she worked from the frame that hung beside her bed. So although they are hard to see in the photo, the silver thimbles stamped on this card is for that memory. At the other grandmother's house, I could play for hours with her button jar. So I stamped the buttons on this one and embossed them in gold. This is a sweet retired set from Stampin' Up from 2000. I distressed the edges and spritzed it with Walnut Ink antiquing solution from Tsukinek.

It is so awesome when our grandmothers shape our lives. Mine is 94 years old and is still an amazingly strong woman. She instilled my faith and even though she had 42 grandchildren, she took time to get to know each and every one of us on a one on one level. Beautifully done. What memories!
