I had the idea for the ring to be on a basic card, and then decided to emboss it with gold on the band, and a clear shimmery for the diamond. I decided instead of using a rectangle white piece, I would use the Top Note die, AND the shimmery white paper that generally I save for wedding cards or those I need super elegant.
Then it needed something so I added the embossing folder, I love the roses with this, btw.
I still have To Have and To Hold, which I love, so it made a nice finish to the white layer, along with the white satin ribbon.
Finally, just layered it onto a black base, and kept this simple, since that is my theme of the day. Simple! I manage to make cards faster that way too.
