Holly's challenge today for the TLC was to use punch art. I love this, and had fun coming up with my little frog.
5 3/4" square base.
The image panel is white card stamped with Inspired by Nature in Pine Needles and embossed with clear EP. I added a couple of little bees from a Penny Black clear set, and used the slot punch and brown Bazzill to turn the grass into reeds. Come to think of it, the stamen punch I used for the frogs hands would make good reeds too...
The frog was made with a lot of circle punches - 1 3/4", 3/4", 1/2" and 1/4". I also used the large oval punch, a small heart punch, stamen punch and the branch from the new SU bird punch for his arms.
And the scallop border punch for edging the image panel.
The sentiment is from Lots of Thoughts, I left the *A* out of Happy and used a gem for an O.
It's nice to have a day off at last, took me all morning to catch up with things that have been going on the long finger for the last few weeks.
