I'm not supposed to be spending half a day stamping/photographing/uploading/commenting, but I absolutely HAD to do today's Featured Stamper, who is none other than JovialJudi! (I'm supposed to be cleaning, packing, and painting so we can this house on the market!)
You know paper tearing is one of my very favorite techniques, so I had no trouble figuring out which card to CASE! Here is Judi's card,
I thought Judi's CASE was different enough that I could CASE hers.
I've kept Judi's basic layout, kept the sentiment (which is computer generated, since I didn't have the stamp) but altered the embellies, and, obviously, used different butterflies, too. I've also used a different corner punch.
I didn't have a way to do the decorative strip on the side, so I used strip of lavender stitched ribbon, colored to match with a green SU marker. The butterflies are cut from a DP stack, the top one cut out twice for depth and dimension. I've changed the colors somewhat as well.
Judi, enjoy your well-deserved day in the sun!
Thanks for looking; hope you like it!
Hugggs!
Maddy

Cleaning? Packing? Painting? Yeah, well you made the correct choice Maddy! This is gorgeous. Those butterflies are beautiful resting on that perfectly torn paper. TFS!

Sorry you lost you comments on the twice posted card. Wow! You didn't need that today with all you have going on. Just the same, I wanted to tell you that you made an adorable card to honor Judi. Love those butterflies!
Be glad when I see some fluttering around in my yard. Good luck with all your chores.

Well thanks for taking time out to case a card of mine! The colors are lovely and the butterflies are gorgeous and look so realistic! Like the corner punch you used and the ribbon on the inside was a clever idea! Thanks for playing along today! I appreciate it. Sorry you had trouble with the upload. You needed to take a break from your chores. ;-) Hugs, Judi
