For this party, I made a new mask (y'know, any excuse for new accessories..LOL!!) and I have a few extras for anyone that lost theirs allready.. I also brought a couple big king cakes with nekkid baby prizes baked in and lots of drizzly frostin all over them.
I made my mask out of textured dp and added and added and added...dug through the pile of vintage lace to make a centerpiece, built it out of several small pieces....then made an accent out of feathers and a vintage button..the lace needed to be gold though and tried several different things but rustoleum did the best job. It's made to be removed from the card if desired, so didn't worry about the card not being big enough until after I posted pic and noticed it looks a little off...
TFL...and if you don't see me, I'm off collecting beads..loooooove them beads....

Oh my word, this is drop-dead gorgeous. I was going to make a mask and use fleur de lis, but I see it's been done and your mask is so superbly stunning that I won't even go there! I have barely picked myself up off the floor to reach the computer to comment. WOW!

What a mask!! We'll all recognise you when you show up in it, it's totally stunning. I've never heard of Rustoleum, but I'll admit to having sprayed lace with gold spray paint myself in the past - and silver .
So sophisticated and WOW!!

Yay! Your'e here! Holy Cow! This is the most awesome thing! I love, love, love it!! It's very apparent that you put a whole lot of time into this! Can't believe you got the lace to match so perfectly! That's persistence...
What an incredible looking project! The black, the gold, the lace, the backgroun, the vintage feel to it and the feathers are just so prefectly coordinated!
You better talk to Martie about putting this somewhere safe as the are alot of crazy Martie McGraw wannabe Mardi Gras partiers who would love to get their hands on this one! How nice of you to offer extras to the teapotters!
Collect some beads for me! I am still dealing with trying to get Curt the Squirt outa the sky! Yikes!
