I just had to try another card I wanted to case from Bar's gallery as featured stamper this week. I thought this card of Bar's would be a perfect sympathy card in black and white, rather than the blue and white:
I used the same layout, but changed the color combo, the image and the b/g stamp. If you can even believe it, I actually omitted pearls - I can't believe I even said that one. I tried to keep it a basic and simple sympathy card. I even avoided using patterned paper or embossing folders - now, that's truly hard to believe.
I used a b/g stamp and embossed in white and the image stamp I embossed in black. I finally figured out how to use the bow easy I've had for some time and was SO CONFUSED. It's still a little tricky for me, but I used it for this bow.
Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to look and congrats again Bar for being selected this week's featured stamper!

Fabulous card! Just stunning in its black and white glory. No need for pearls and dp when it looks this good! Great job with that Bow Easy thingamabob...your bow is fab - Anne will be proud of you, even if you had to resort to tools.
I simply can't imagine you being 'confused' (your word, not mine) my sweet 1-2DIQ Fruitflake friend. (PS - I see you completely lost your marbles this time - but as I said, this beauty of a card needs no help - it's fabulous in its own right.) J

What???? I must get up off the floor. Pam made a card with no pearls, embossing folder, all those pretty things she does so well. But, I see she can do the most awesome cards with or without those embellies. Pam, this is just beautiful!!!! Love it in black and white.

Wow: Pam-style CAS!!! This is truly striking, a perfect sympathy card. I love the white embossing and the great high-contrast color scheme. And way to go on conquering that Bow Easy!!! Looks like you really have the hang of it!! Nicely done, Pam

We should all have sympathy cards on hand...they are difficult to make when we are grieving!
Black and white cards are one of my favorites!
Yours is really pretty.
