This birthday card for my mom was a big ol' mix of inspiration. I wanted to try an easel card and then I saw this case by hskelly of a case by tankgrl of a wonderful card by vanilla.bean. After a few cracked glass FAILS, I finally got the image to look, well, if not as good as the inspiration, at least good enough for me!
I started by stamping Upsy Daisy in versamark, heat set and colored with prismacolor pencils. I added about 5 layers of regular clear embossing powder, then put it in the freezer and carefully cracked the corners. The gorgeous kraft dp is from jillibean soup. For the sentiment panel, I stamped the PTI sentiments in memento rhubarb & versamark and embossed. The flourishes are American Craft Christmas rubons.
Now I need to get this in the mail and hope it gets there by Saturday!

LOVE the coloring job! I didn't even recognize the set Meg - and I own it! Really like that kraft DP too and I think your cracked glass loks nice around the edges. This looks terrific!
