Today's teapot challenge hosted by Sabrina aka Cook22 is taking place in the woods with real bears! As Cindy would say, "yikes!" We have a bear who visits our cabin area every other year or so. One time we forgot to take down our hummingbird feeders and they were smashed to pieces and there were bear prints in the pollen on the porch. Thus, I made a cabin of corrugated paper left over from gingerbread boy tags. The trees are stamped on textured paper but the texture doesn't show. I think the bear smells Sabrina's ham! Just keep drinking that mead and don't open the door. If this doesn't make sense then you need to visit the Tuesday Teapot Challenge in the forum. What fun!

The corrugated card is perfect for a log cabin. Yikes, I think I should be glad we have no bears here - the worst I've ever seen on our feeder is a rat - needless to say I quickly moved the feeder so he couldn't reach it any more. I can see the texture behind the trees, and I just love your little bear...he's not one of the scary ones . It looks so cosy with the smoke coming out of the cabin - can I come in and get warm?

So pretty little cabin. Thanks for building it for us, but I think Oscar can dissuade this one with a piece of ham and mead for sure, it's made of honey after all. LOL TFS and for coming to the party.

Love your cabin. I can smell your fire burning or is that Sabrina's ham! Hope not. Love your forest on the textured paper. Your bear doesn't look all that harmful.......from where I am........inside! Awesome card. TFS :0)

Wow! I love that cabin. So clever! Lovely as a Tree is one of my old stand-by's and I love how you have made these lovely woods. Your bear is a little skeery! I think I see a little pollen on his paws. Could he be your culprit? Hmmmmm...now don't drink too much mead! TSMFS

Your little cabin is perfect to keep those pesky bears away from the ham...that means more for you and me, yeaaaaa!!!! The trees look great in the background, too, and I love how you added the buttons!!!
