I used a different colourway of the Sakura design that was one of Anne's thumbnails for my inspiration. There's a frame I have my eye on IF I have time for another, but that's a big if. And DH has his eye on another frame - *make it for me*. No way!!
A2 base, covered in a deep petrol/teal Bazzill with distressed edges, and then green Bazzill, also with edges distressed. I used a peel-off cherry tree for background on the green.
The image is from Kodomo; I stamped with black onto white card, coloured the flowers with H2Os, cut with an oval and sponged. It's popped up on foam. I stamped the Japanese character from the stamp in the bottom corner of the green layer, and added Glossy Accents.
I do have another card I started out with, but not totally happy with it, I need time to think where to take it.
Thanks for a lovely inspiring site today, Anne.
