 | | I had to try the faux cloisonne for my Christmas cards this year. The ornament is stamped on the tail end of a roll of wrapping paper. I began by using green cardstock, but ran out. I had to add the red layer for a little differentiation when I went to white cardstock and I am not sure if I favor the green or the white. The white paper used for the Joy tag and the ornament background is glossy. The card itself is matte finish paper. It does not show up on the scan, but I find the contrast of the matte and glossy pleasing in such a simple layout.
My stamp positioner was invaluable in lining up the deckle stamp for the border. |
