I did two versions of this card, but will post the 2nd one tomorrow. I'm running behind already this morning!
I made this card for a friend, and when she opened it yesterday she loved it. That is such a great feeling!
The background was stamped and sponged before attaching to the Cricut cut bare trees. The cardinal was cut with my Cricut, and layered together before attaching. Stickles provided the bling.
Thanks for looking!

Wonderful! I love the effect of the light-coloured trees on the beautiful sponged background - they really make the red cardinal pop! No wonder your friend was so delighted! It is such a great feeling isn't it, when you know you've made someone happy with a handcrafted card?
Very neat and interesting! One of those cards you can just gaze at for awhile...
