Nancy (nwilliams6) and I decided to do our own recipe swap and these are the wonderful cards I received for Nov. The theme was set by me, and was for things that would make good gifts. And we were to have red on there somewhere.. Doesn't this sound decadent? Can't wait to try it out on the gang at work.
TFL and feel free to leave some wonderfull comments for Nancy here.
Here's the recipe cuz no matter how I photographed it, couldn't get clear enough to read.
Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball or Dip
3/4 bag of mini chocolate chips
2 pkgs cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar (more or less depending on how thicker consistancy you want)
1/4 cup lt. brown sugar - 2 tbsp
1 stick of butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
crushed pecans or other nuts (optional)
Mix the butter and cream cheese together on low until blended, add sugars and vanilla until well blended. Add chocolate chips and stir together. Refrigerate 2 hours then form into ball and rolll in crushed nuts and refrigerate another hour. Serve with chocolate graham crackers, chocolate chip cookies, or chocolate teddy grahams.
Use less powdered sugar and don't refrigerate as long to use as dip.
