Hey y'all, this week the teapotters are going to the North Pole to do a little surveilance to answer the question; "What do snowmen do at night?"
Well, nightime is courtin time. After all they have to be so well behaved during the day. Suzy snowgal really has her eyes on the new snowman in town, Ramon...but Suzy is so shy she doesn't know how to stand out in the crowd of snowgals. See, it seems that the snowmen are really committment shy and fleet footed (why do you think there are more of them than snowgals and snowkids?) But they fall fast when hit with a snowball, so Mrs Claus came up with a plan to help Suzy get Ramon's attention. Each snowgal tries to come up with a signature snowball cuz if she can't prove that it was her snowball that felled him, the other gals can step in. So, Mrs. Claus told Suzy that she needed to use her signature color rosy pink, since none of the other snowgals would wear that color. (thought it was to girly and all)...Well, Suzy was really quite smart under that shy exterior and she went home to calculate and formulate and came up with the perfect rosy pink color, and Mrs. Claus let her borrow her special heart shaped snowball mold for the fight.
Now Suzy was never much of an athlete and her first snowballs missed their mark, but I'm bettin that last one that's gonna knock his hat off will get Ramon's attention. yessiree, I think she'll get her snowman after all....Cuz, how could he resist such a cutie throwing heart shaped snowballs his way...
I have to give credit to Charlene (or Bertie, not sure which) for the pink snowball idear, it really stuck in my little brain..thx!!
This is the first stairstep card I've made and I'm gonna have to make a few adjustments and cover the back also. I know my sweetie will grumble about all the glitter but I bet it will be sitting on his desk next time I go to the office... so don't want the bare back to show.

The story is so fun! This is a great card too - I have never tried one of those special fold cards as they look too time-consuming and hard. All the extras you added really make it special. You know snowpeople are my favorite images. My sweetie grumbles over glitter too so I know what you are talking about. If I ever finish my MMTPT card for this week, you will see that I just about used up my glitter on this one. My DH and I were battling over counter space. He was making deer jerky and I was making snow-people so there is probably some glitter on that jerky!
