Christmas came early today .
I got home from work yesterday, and had missed a delivery. I thought it was an order from Frantic Stamper, so I nearly left DH to collect it later today, as he took the car to work. But it's only about a twenty minute walk home for me from the sorting office, and I can get a bus there from work. I am so glad I did - if I'd left it for DH I'd have missed out on that lovely warm happy feeling all the way home. And, since I had a screwdriver in my pocket from checking the tree lights in work, I was even able to get past the packing tape and have a quick peek while I was stuck at the level crossing waiting for a train to go past.
Just as well I took all my old cards off the piano on Monday when I did the housework - such a lovely card, and our first one this year.
I will definitely try the recipe Lorraine enclosed for a pumpkin and cream cheese roll-up. Probably when my sis is here over Christmas - she's a real foodie too. In the sweet little gift bag were that lovely washer pendant and a sweet little bird ornament, which will go in the *special ornaments* box when the tree comes down. And there were stamps and a blender pen - Lorraine, you really spoiled me - and made my week.
