Decided to go with the CAS challenge today mainly because you had to use sponging which is right up my alley. I practically sponge everything. So this was a no brainier for me. I am also making this for my step mom who loves her cat and is really in need of a card right now.......details....
Was trying something different today. I used a new MS border punch on the end of some cs. Then I took this piece and used it as my stencil sponging the edges around a white cs panel. Then to make this pop, I doodled the edges of the border.
In the middle, I took a mask I made by cutting a square out of some cs, then using the negative part I sponged the blue square adding doodle lines to that.
Printed out this Mo's digi image, colored with copics and prisama pencils, versa marked and clear ep. Sponged edges on the square. Got to admit, before buying this image, I thought the round things on the bottom were eyes and the green thing a rolled up newspaper. But, after discussing this with my sister as we were both internet shopping together over the phone no less, she thought they were celery and possibly eggs. After buying it, I realized it was indeed celery and the round things were olives. hehe.....at least I hope they are olives.
Back to the card, put my bg panel on a kraft card, then popped up the image square over the sponged blue one. Added a MS gingham bow and the orange button cuz it just needed MORE color!
Well, hope you like my take on the CAS challenge...TFL :0)
Hi Sis!.....how could we have been so wrong!
