Trying to catch up on cards from this weekend's challenges! This one is for the inspiration challenge Saturday. This time we took our inspiration from Franz Porcelain and I chose this gorgeous piece here!
And of course I had to use the new Our Daily Bread releases to create this card.
I stamped and clear or white embossed bunches of poinsettias and cut and cut and cut! I lightly sponged the centers with Mellow Moss ink. I punched out several Martha Stewart twig thingies for my greenery. For the background I embossed with a snowflake folder, and I cut out an oval with a Spellbinders die. I white embossed the scripture. I sponged the edges with white ink and then I sprayed the background and the greenery with Glimmer Mist, Marshmallow for the background and Pearl for the greenery. And then I started 'building' my card. I added ribbon and red rhinestones to finish. I used Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue cardstock. The Chocolate Chip layer is sponged with white so it looks gray! Anyway, I love layering these poinsettias! I used all three of the new sets for this card.
