The last card I made was for my brother and this one is for my sister-in-law to send my thoughts and prayers with issues they are currently facing. I wanted to make a separate one for each person with a different message in each.
I recently picked up this bible stamp made by Inkadinkadoo and thought I would probably be using it quite often for cards I make when someone at our church is in a time of need or for family and friends. It can cover any situation with the bible image on the front.
I used some basicgrey patterned papers I picked up recently. For the image, I stamped it in black, then cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals so it looks like it's coming out of the frame. I used a gold glitter pen to fill in the bookmark and look like gold pages, colored in the flowers and added some dazzling diamonds for a little sparkle. The mat under the image was embossed with the textile embossing folder. I found some sparkly brads I had that were just the right size and sparkle for the card. Don't you love when that happens? I was going to use flowers around the border, but thought I'd just leave at it the brads so the flowers/bible image would be the main focus. Added a silk ribbon which I tried numerous times to make into a bow and gave up and popped up the main panel on dimensionals.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!

This is just beautiful, Pam. I love that you cut the Bible out and popped it up. Now, I'll know that is what to do with the image you sent me. Gorgeous work and I love your ribbon. Hope this helps with easing the problems your SIL is facing.
