The challenge is S O S and mine are:
S – Sparkle from the H2o coloring method.
O – Ovals
S – Stitching and Scallops
I always try to utilize every piece of cardstock no matter the size so this is just another way to use a ton of left over strips. I cuttlebug embossed each stripe and did the crazy quilt design on sticky paper. ItÂ’s faster to run more than one strip through the machine at a time and the sticky paper method is pretty quick too.
The Crazy Quilt Patchwork directions:
-The patchwork panel is super easy to do. I use regular white sticker paper. Cut some paper strips - any width will work and I do a variety. Remove the backing of the sticker paper and place a strip of paper diagonal from corner to corner. Place about three to four going in the opposite direction from the first and then switch directions again. Trim before you fill all the edges so itÂ’s easy to line up an edge to your cutter. Most of my pieces were already cut so I can have this panel done in about ten minutes.
-H2o method for coloring the card butterflies, Prismacolor pencils for the envelope.

What a cool idea for scraps. I have a problem throwing the scraps out. Now I have a reason to keep them. This crazy quilt is a super idea. Love the look. Love your crisp and beautiful butterflies. Fantastic job Rox! TFS :0)
