Well! I am actually kind of enjoying uploading cards I'm not happy with - mostly because I'm getting to peek around and find the links to everyone who shared & inspired me
This card came about because of Holly, who made this card & shared the link to the sentiment: http://hogwildaboutstamping.blogspot...andy-toes.html
Holly used real sand on her image, and I loved that idea, but had no sand. AHA! I do have some Distress embossing powder in antique paper, and lots, since every time I use it I set off the smoke alarm ;) I used a 2-way glue pen & sprinkled it onto my sentiment, and let it dry without embossing it. It stuck on really well & really feels like sand! This part I like
The sentiment came from Lazy Daisy Designs, and was a freebie she offered a while ago (she has loads of digiments for sale & still posts freebies, so you should have a peek!): http://lazydaisydesigns.blogspot.com/
The paper is from MAMBI, and I remembered that I had some flamingo rub-ons in my stash, so I dug those out, added a few Dress It Up buttons, and called it finito.
