have spent the last 4 days working on the Stampin' Up Stall at the Canberra Craft and Quilt Fair, it was so much fun and very successful...in the process I managed to sell 83 cards!! YAHOO!! I did manage to find some Tim Holtz Grungeboard which I am looking forward to using, along with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist...can't wait to use it all! I have to say I am exhausted, I would love to say that I have a fresh card for you today but I haven't had the time...but I do have some more of the Stamp Camp cards my SU demo, Ann ran. This set 'A Wish for Peace' is a beautiful set and we were given a set each as part of our Workshop - so that was a blessing!
This card was very simple to make but so effective, using the Embossing Resist technique. The depth of colour around the dove can't really be seen, I sponged in Not Quite Navy and Basic Black to give some depth. Then when I came home I added Kindy Glitz to the wings and tail...just to add that Christmas bling, that we all love!

Eighty Three cards!!!! Woo hoo!!! I think your 4 day weekend was well worth it! I used to help my BF do craft shows and we were always exhausted afterwards. We met some awefully nice folks though and she was able to supplement her income too. By the way, she also loves Doves. We have not spoken for almost three years and I do miss her. Perhaps some day she'll let me back into her life..............

Linda, Linda, you must be so exhausted, but so satisfied. Congrats on those sales, if I was there I WOULD BE BUYING A BUNCH of your cards! This card is beautiful I love Night of Navy and the other Navy colors, they are so rich. This card is perfect, a great sentiment and the Dove so elegant. TFS a great card.

I'm flying to Australia, if you're selling 83 cards in a week-end. I want to be there and sell a few of mine too. Now I hope that money is going for a ticket to America now. No pressure! LOL What a lovely card here Linda. Love this bird and the blue is quite stunning too darling! TFS this is gorgeous carmaking.

Linda, this is beautiful!! I have that set too and LOVE it. I'll be using it more soon as I add in Christmas cards a little at a time. Glad you had a great time and sold those cards - girl, I don't know how you do it - making so many cards and they're not just thrown together either. Each one has its own special feel and features. Enjoy your new goodies too!! TFS Linda!!
