Good morning--I tried to wake myself up this morning by doing this week's Viva La Verve. I needed a baby boy card for a little boy who's turning 1 next week, and I knew I wanted to use Gina K's Wee Tees.
The twist this week was to get edgy-use border punches and edge punches. Well, I only have one. That's a heart border. Not very appropriate, I think! So, I settled for some very rounded scallops made with my corner rounder. I tried to keep it from looking girly!
I stamped the trains in Real Red, colored with colored pencils, colored over with a Versamark pen, and then heat embossed with clear ep. I love how they stand out because they are shiny! I did add a little bit of faux stitching just for some detail.
I used a piece of Lemon Tart from PTI for the very back mat, only because I didn't have enough SU Barely Banana and I thought it looked close enough---don't shun me!!
Thanks for looking! Happy Friday!
