My daughter's best friend is getting married in Oct. and she wanted handmade invitations. She wanted them to be fairly simple, and this is what we cooked up.
Deep brown cs was ordered cut to size thru Oscar's Door County Rubber Stamps and Scrapbooking.
We also ordered a custom stamp thru Oscar's, which is the monogram and both names.
The pale peach vellum was ordered by the bride thru a place on the internet, because we couldn't find this particular color in any stores, nor could we order it thru Oscar's because it was a color not carried by her supplier.
The backround was done using clear leaf stamps arranged on an acrylic block and stamped all over with bronze ink, then clear embossed.
The date was computer printed, attached to a deep brown strip with brads, the mounted on pop dots.
The names and monogram are all one stamp. It was first stamped on the peach vellum. Then stamped again on deep brown cs with bronze ink, clear embossed, and just the monogram cut out and mounted in the center of the vellum with pop dots. You can't see that the monogram is raised in the picture. The vellum was attached to the background with brads, then the whole thing was attached to a card front.
