The inside pieces on top of the Melon Mambo layers are 2 3/4 square pieces, which I stamped separately and layered onto the inside piece before putting them together.
The strips along either side of the card, with the ribbon, are about 4 1/4 x 1 1/2 each, just enough to fit, and cover up the cut edge on either side. Plus, I wanted to use the ribbon somehow!
Sentiment was last minute touch, because I just couldn't leave it blank!
I tried to keep this simple, with simple designs with the circles. The Scalloped circle piece, I stamped on the base, and then cut out a few of the layers separately with punches. Of course, you could use markers to color the individual layers instead, but I don't have the markers, so I chose this. I used thet SAMJ for the lined up circle layers in the middle.
I was worrying at first if I would like this, but I am pleased at how it turned out in the end. There isn't anything to show off when closed, but I decided it wasn't the important part of my card.
Thanks for a new technique to try out Challenge Masters!
