My first Father's Day card for my future father in law, who is definitely not a card guy. He loves doing the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle, and my fiance (also not a card guy) gave me the idea for this card. The hardest part was doing the math to figure out the dimensions of the boxes for the crosswords -- 3/8" by 1/2"
It's mostly made with Papertrey goodies: Aqua Mist and Dark Chocolate DP layered on Kraft cardstock. I used Guide Lines for the background. I drew the crossword boxes and used a clear alphabet by MSE (My Sentiments Exactly) for the letters. Crossword image is popped up on dimensionals. It's stamped in ColorBox pigment ink from their petal Provence palette.
