For Sharon's Spring Has Sprung challenge, I knew I had to use Blossoms Abound. This is not my favorite flower stamp, but lilacs are, along with peonies, my favorite flower of Spring in the U.P. My lilacs are budded out, and should bloom in a week or two. The peonies won't be far behind.
For the first layer of lilacs, I stamped off with almost amethyst to get a lighter color. For the top layer, I inked up with versamark and almost amethyst, then embossed with clear EP. The stems were embossed with old olive and the leaves with kiwi kiss.

Such a beautiful and wonderfully cased card! Love that gingham ribbon; it gives your card a sense of warm and maybe a little country feel. Love those punched edges, too.
Oooh, so pretty!
