This card is for today's Sketch Challenge, SC230. All of the layers were a bit scary, but once I picked up a handful of cardstock (which all looked so nice together!), I was on my way. I needed to make end-of-year thank you notes for Sunday School teachers and helpers; since I was making multiple copies, I had to keep it as simple as possible to streamline the mass production, so I didn't mat the layers as much as I should have (I think it would have looked better/more unified if I'd done more matting). Anyway, today's Sketch Challenge gave me the nudge I needed to tackle a job that had to be done! Although simple, these should be perfect for the occasion. Now all I need to do is write a personal note inside.
All of the designed paper is hand-stamped cardstock. I sponged the hull of the ark and the water around it. The animals, Noah, and bridge were colored with colored pencils. The sentiment oval is popped up with dimensionals.
Thanks for looking!
